  • Montagnolo, a rich, full fat blue-veined cheese from Germany, is now in stock at John D.Owen & Son. This World Cheese Award Winner 2013 from Bavaria is a triple cream soft cheese and is the perfect accompaniment to a full-bodied red wine such as Pinot Noir.
  • Alfez Harissa chilli paste to mix in, spread or coat and cook.
  • Alfez Sumac, a delicious topping for salads and kebabs, offering the flavour of traditional Moroccan and Lebanese cooking.

Alfez Harissa, the key ingredients for which are chillies, tomatoes and garlic, can also be mixed into soups or with mayonnaise to make a delicious spicy dip whilst Sumac, a deep red berry granule with a wonderfully sharp and tangy taste, is delicious sprinkled on kebabs and in salads.

Tip: Add it to rice or couscous for fantastic colour and flavour.
